The role of a graphic designer has radically changed over the last decade. Once a print-dominated industry, graphic design has evolved beyond a simple analog or digital definition to one that includes participatory experiences beyond the printed or digital page.

The role of this beta survey is to validate its efficacy prior to the open call for participation and gather industry-driven data that when compiled will produce a set of recommendations for design educators that outline the new core competencies in early 2016.
